I wouldn't advise buying 'sight unseen'. Even if you drive and inspect a car yourself you can get burned, and no one will look at the car the way you will. I thought about buying a 'slight unseen' myself. When I finally picked a car to look at I decided to spare myself the worry, I took a plane flight to look at the car and drive it myself. I'm so glad I did, the hassle of a plane flight can save you getting stuck with a car you don't want.

That being said are there any sight unseen mobile inspection services I can pay to take a look at the car? Has anyone else done something similar? Given my work schedule it'll be difficult to just jump on a plane.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the 'Check list'.......Water in the trunk......very common problem, difficult to see unless you pull all the trunk trim out. If it's not taken care of it'll rust out the trunk bottom. Finding were the water is coming into the trunk is important, fix the leak, clean and spray inside the trunk bottom with a good rubberized undercoat. I saw a great idea somewhere.....Drill the two plastic drain plugs at the bottom of the trunk, to a diameter that will fit a tire valve, take the needle out of the tire valve and insert it in the holes upside down. This mod will keep the trunk dry.

I would worry about the big three: Was it wrecked, flooded, or stolen? The price is way below where the market is.
