Default What to look for when buying tail lights?

I've been searching for a set of used 02-03 tail lights on ebay. I have heard that some lights might have fading. Does that only affect 00-01 or all of them? Also are there clips that might brake when they are removed? Is there anything else I should be aware of?
So far I found that ebay people dont know the difference between 00-01 to 02-03 tail lights.

BTW PM me if you have a set or just the passenger side. Need very soon.

As long as they don't look like the lights I saw on a Honda yesterday, it had about 1" of water sloshing around in it.

The only difference I know of is that the 2003's have some silver trim around the lenses. Earlier models don't.
