What is life expectancy of stock brake pad and rotors?

Pull the rims off. Turn the wheel to the left or right to see the thickness of the pads through the back of the caliper.

A couple of minutes work and you'll have your answers.

i just replaced all the pads this weekend at 22k miles. Fronts needed it and were beginning to squeek. The rears looked almost brand new, but put new ones on anyways!

I'm at 18,000+ miles of every day mix driving and so far everything is ok.

im at 22k miles and my brakes squealed from a very early age....i checked it at honda and they told me its cause of dust and sand getting between the pads and rotors
i didnt belive at first, but the brakes are still fine to this day

Changed front pads and turned rotors @ 50K

I have 43,000mi on my S, still on first set of brake pads. I do mostly hiway driving though.

I had about 45k and still could go for another 5k at least. I drive highway a lot but I go to the canyon a lot to. Drive in the canyon hard.

MY '00 w/ 44K. I'm hearing squeaks now once in awhile, but I cant figure out if they are my car or the car next to me. Never heard them drving alone.

First owner of car drive it like a civic. I'm the second owner and have beat the hell out of it (performance wise) for the last 25K.
