what kind of Maintance

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to post a relevant update/addition I found for anyone who may stumble across it.
Honda's site now shows schedules for both AP1s and AP2s (and all other Hondas), and there is no longer a need to login, just select year and model: http://owners.honda....ntenance/minder
Here's the maintenance schedule for a MY06 S, for example: http://owners.honda....0#mid^AP2146ENW
Both Normal and Severe are view-able, and you can expand all and then print easily for reference.

Nice link, thanks!
Of course, on our 2006 cars the Maintenance Minder in the instrument cluster tells us what to do and when to do it. My "change the oil" notification came on well before the 7500 mile service interval (somewhere in the 5500 range as I recall).

Besides the obvious (Pre-MY06 S owners), I would say the set schedule would be of most interest to those who may want to have a regular regimen based on time/miles, perhaps due to low annual mileage accumulation. Another case could be if your Maintenance Minder got temporarily off kilter, maybe due to a prolonged power interruption to the vehicle or something.
I like having the schedule because it lets you keep tabs on some of the (unnecessary) 'extras' that dealerships and independent mechanics can sometimes tag onto a servicing.

I've had my 2006 car three seasons. Bought on 3 Jul 14 from a very large Honda dealer who serviced the car including fresh oil and filter, flushed and changed the brake fluid, booster recall, brake pads, etc. pre-sale.
My first oil change was at the end of the season just before winter storage (Nov 14) with 4419 miles on the oil. No oil usage. No Maintenance Minder notifications. Changed the gearbox and differential oil at the same time. I have no idea what oil the dealer used. I use Royal Purple 10W-30 full synthetic.
Second oil change a year later (Nov 15) with an additional 6551 miles on that oil. Again no MM notifications. Clean Blackstone Labs oil analysis.
Most recent oil change (Sep 16) as the result of the MM telling me to change the engine and differential oil. 5536 miles on this engine oil (12,087 on the differential). Clean Blackstone Labs oil analysis. I did the service when the MM got below 10% oil life left, before it stayed on all the time so the 5500 miles could probably have gone to 6000 or a bit more. Just didn't like the constant nagging on start up.
Not sure I drove much differently this season than the past two but the MM did not activate previously. Late summer 1,200 mile "road trip" to my old college, otherwise just fun drives, commuting, etc. Averaging 5500 miles per season and a single oil change each season.

Glad they should be working for everyone, sorry about your phone though. If you clear your phone's browser cache it should work, since the site was probably out of commission for a bit when you tried to visit the first time.
