is what i did bad?
hi.... today i was driving my S...i was with my dad cause he is a good driver and my dad was teaching me how to shift how he does when he is in a race....so i got from 1-3 really well and tried to hit 4th but when i shifted i kinda went in between neutral and 4th.....i didn't hear my gears grind but my car just reved like it was in neutral..also i hit the redline....after that happened i drove it around and all was fine...but im wondering if i did anything to mess up my engine or transmition....

You can have the engine bouncing off the rev limiter all afternoon, as long as it's up to temperature and not getting too hot, it won't do any harm.
I will sound like it does, though!
The only sure way to damage the engine is to have it rev higher than the limiter, which is easily accomlished by downshifting too early so the rear wheels can drive the engine instead of vice versa. Don't bodge those 5-4 shifts, easy to slip into 2nd gear there!
Have fun!
