Default What is the highest price you paid to buy a S2000?

You guys in USA are lucky as the tax for cars
are pretty low.
You may paid $5000+MSRP for the stook but
it still look cheap and I am pretty jealous.
I paid $US55000 equialvant to buy the stook
in Hong Kong as the tax for car is huge.

Just want to know any people on this planet
had to paid a higher price to get a S2k?
and what is the highest price you paid in
US only?

$40,500. TTL, aero screen, front and rear spoiler, side strakes, car cover, cargo net, wheel locks. Worth it too.

FYI,the $55000 I paid is with no options except the CD-changer.

$32,740.00 for my silver 01', plus title, license, and what I pay in my lease every month for the taxes. Lets face it, this car is totally worth the $40+K that peeps are spending for it, I got off lucky because I know the owner of the dealership, and used to work for him. I'm happy.

Now insurance is a whole different animal, and since you can't drive this car without it (or you shouldn't rather), I feel it should be included. My insurance is $125.00 am month (damn C&I a year ago), but will drop to $65.00 a month next year.
