Default What the heck does the center console come with in

in the spot where the changeholder is supposed to be.. My dealership owed me a new center console (wont bore you wth the details), and they just gave it to me. It looks like it has a spot for two buttons or something where the change holder is supposed to be.. its got like a seperater right down the middle! Do I need to buy a changeholder seperately?

PS this is an 03 s2k

that's for the hardtop defogger switch. It shouldn't be there unless you have a hardtop. Sounds like they got it salvage.

What you have is the thing that you install the switch for the hardtop defroster. The other slot should have a dummy plug in it to cover the hole. If you want the coin holder, you can buy one. It looks like this:

If you have an '03, your rear window defroster switch should be on the dash. The same switch is used for the hard top.

It looks like they gave you a pre '02 console. Pre '02 models had plastic rear windows, so no OEM rear defroster. Those who added a glass window or hardtop to their pre '02 added that switch panel to the console.

to that dealer!!!

Make sure they give you the correct console!

Yes. You can exchange the switch plate for a change holder.

Yes. A change holder.

You've got a cup holder.
