Now that I look at the picture again, I see how precarious the wires are to the car & ground. A few more feet and thing would have certainly been much worse. Glad it wasn't.

The driver was our own Evo S2000. Sick I know, but I was hoping someone got pics. I'm glad he's OK (or was before he got off the phone with the insurance). Hopefully he'll post an update.

He was right behind me at the time and took the right-hander way too hot. As he had his car dropped some obscene amount and doubtless had very little compliance in the suspension, he exhibited a great deal of oversteer, overcorrected and spun to the outside of the curve into the trees.

Other than that a wonderful day, wouldn't you agree?

BTW, blwnnsx, who are (were) you? The red w/ the Comptech SC I suppose. Sorry if I don't remember your name.

At least he wasn't gawking at a Porsche.

In all seriousness, I hope the driver is well and the StooK is on the mend.

We pulled around a loafer in a Yellow C5 Vette and I was doing about 110 down the (relatively) straight when I saw the NSX ahead of me lay into the brakes. The yellow S2000 was pretty far behind me at this point. I brought it down to about 50-60 for the turn and it was a challenge at those speeds. My guestimate is that he took it at 70+.

I'm just glad that nobody was seriously injured. There was an SUV in the oncoming lane about 100yds out when he pulled the acrobatics.

It could have been far worse.

And welcome to S2KO. Going thru withdrawal with NSXPrime's forums down?
