What happen to my car? Check engine and vsa light
i'm driving on the freeway and im getting off, so I downshift to 4rth gear and go. Then the car kinda bogs and all of a sudden the VSa light, the triagle with explamation mark and the light that looks like a engine came on. What the hell happen? I turned off the car and turned it back on and it seems the indicator that looks like a engine stays on. Does anyone know what happen, is it still safe to drive. It doesn't feel any different.

you can take it into any mechanic and they'll pull the code for you, and charge you anywhere from $30-$100. You can diy for about $30

There's also an Android application (Torque) that works with OBDII BlueTooth readers. The app is a few bucks and the readers are available on eBay from HongKong for about $30. Integrates with GPS on your Android phone and gives you a lot of good stats.
But if your VSA light is on and doesn't reset, that could be bad news. I just had a similar problem (VSA light on, but no noticeable performance or handling issues) and took it to the dealer. Fortunately there were about 5 months left on the original warranty because the repair bill was nearly $2k for a VSA module and a steering angle sensor.
