Default What is a good price to get for stock rims?

I am selling the rims off of my 00 S2000 and I was curious as to what the going price is? The guy at discount tire said I could possibly pull 800 for them, but I want to ask you guys to see if anyone has sold their rims. Also, I know they will fit an Accord, but will they fit anything else (like a prelude)?

thanks,
Brandon (New to S2Ki)

any damage? with or without tires? if with how much tread left? need more information before we can give you an honest opinion. But if you are thinking $800 without tires you'll be disappointed. Check our Marketplace in the 4sale and Wanted Forum you'll find a bunch of stock rims listed.

I don't believe they will fit any other vehicle except the S2k without some sort of modification. That's sort of the anti-theft beauty of the S2k rims (and also a limiter for resale). As far as price, do a search for OEM rims and you'll find plenty sold/for sale. Seems that's one of the first things folks mod. From memory, and depending on whether tires are included, they have been fetching between $400-$700 here on S2ki.

I am not including tires. They are not in saleable shape. I was hoping for 400. There is no damage to them whatsoever. As far as them fitting something else. The accord has the same bolt pattern and dimensions, or so I was told, but if not then this will be a hard item to sell. Thanks for the feedback

Lots of cars have the same bolt pattern, it's the offset that makes the difference. $400 is a reasonable price for stock rims. I've seen $500 with little takers recently.

I need to double check the computers at Discount Tire, it said that the accord and S2000 have the same offset, pattern etc...

One big difference is that the accord has the same size wheels all around. The S2000 has wider rear wheels. Doesn't make much sense on a front-wheel drive car to have wider wheels and tires on the back.

What's wrong with them if they are not in "saleable shape?"

I saw a set of s2000 wheels on a 90's TOYOTA MR2. Of corse he did not have the "H" CENTER CAP ON!

$400 is the right price for a good set with no curb rash. A truly perfect "not a scratch" set might go a little higher.
