Have you ever hear anyone say: "My oil filter saved my engine!"

I don't think brand of oil filter makes any significant difference. Just use correct size and you will be fine.

I'm also using Mobile 1 sync with honda filter.

I have always just used the Honda OEM filter.
I buy them by the case of 12 and use them on both my CRX-Si and the S2000.
Thak you Honda for making life simple!

I just read a good thread on this, esp the link provided by Sheister. Apparently Mobil 1 and Purolator Pure One make an excellent filters, and Fram should be avoided at all costs. Likewise, several manufacturers appear to just buy the cheap-o Fram innards and put their own case on the outside.

for me (changes my oil every 3k miles or 3 months, whichever comes first), i dont really care about the oil filter. i've been using genuine honda filters for my accord long before i had my s2k and i never had any problems. if you are using synthetic, i guess mobil one and purolater are good since they last longer.

I'm using either a BOSCH Premium or Mobil 1 (both filters are identical on the inside, and use the same synthetic filter media, Mobil 1 seems to have a coating on the filtering media). The BOSCH filter is about $4.00 cheaper than a Mobil 1 filter, so I usually run with that.

I avoid the Honda filters (the ones that are Canadian made) at all costs. It's basically a FRAM filter.

I find that Brita filters provide the best taste
