I told him he drove a POS American car. (I know, kinda harsh, but it was the first thing that came from my mouth.)
He had a grand-am.

I just smiled said thank you and drove away.

Ok. Do you guys ever run into people accusing you of driving a girly car? How do you reply?

I've gotten the "girly car" comment before. Actually, the quote I got was "chic car." I told them to get in the passenger seat for a few minutes and then they could tell me what they thought. It wasn't a "chic car" anymore.

I laugh at them and say "OK."
As to the "just a honda comment" I usually get a variation of that that goes like this:
Them: "Your car is just a civic."
Me: "Your SVT Cobra Mustang is just an escort."

I've had a lady friend call my car "really cute", but I didn't think too much of it. In another somewhat related story, I was at my nephew's birthday party and one of his friends came rushing inside the house proclaiming to all the other kids that there was a Ferrari parked in the driveway. Being sparked by this discovery, I joined the masses of children as they exited the house and proceeded towards the driveway. In the center of the youthful crowd was none other than the sebring silver metallic S2000, top down. I was laughing so much.

I have never gotten either one of the aformentioned comments. But if I did, wouldn't really bother me, as it is just a Honda, and 2nd I don't really care what anyone thinks of my car.
