What do a Denali and an Evo have in common?
Well, this is a bit freaky. I drove my wife to work yesterday morning and, on the way back home, I entered I-80 East from a stop light at a service road. A guy in an Evo had pulled up behind me. Not giving his presence much thought, I took off from the light, and did a quick left and right to enter the on-ramp while running the S2 up to redline in first and second gear. As I shifted to third, it was clear that the Evo had been hoping to make run out of the freeway entrance because he came flying by me as I let off on the throttle in deference to the CHP car I noticed ahead in my lane. The Evo was already past me by the time I saw the patrol car. He must have been at about 85 when he went flying past the soon to be lit red light. I just motored on past at the speed limit as the Evo was looking for a place to pull over.
Here's the freaky part. Later that evening as I was leaving to go pick my wife up at the train station, I was in a long on-ramp to I-80 west which is also a bit blind. Given the normal speed of right lane traffic there, I have taken to accelerating fairly hard on the on ramp to get to speed in order to merge easily. As I began to enter the right lane, I merged alongside a Denali in the middle lane who decided to do a 75 mph roll off with me. I settled into 75 mph and hit the cruise control. He kept his foot in the floor and was around the next curve and out of site for all of about 20 seconds; that's when I saw the CHP cruiser pulling him over.
If you are on I-80, keep you eyes open for what has become an invasion of CHP cruisers. Keep your eyes particularly peeled if you see a Silverstone/Black S2 up ahead.

I agree on this....my silverstone/black seems to get disregarded by the H.P. here in North Carolina. I drive on freeways for about 2 hours a day and consistently do 10-15 over. Sometimes my speed picks up a few wolves and I pass the cops, cops pull over other cars, and I never even hit the brakes.
One thing though, every time I feel like I'm about to be busted by police for speeding, it seems like there is some huge SUV or sedan overshadowing me.

the S2000 does have a pretty small cross-section. It is much easier to pick off an SUV at 100 yards than a S2000.
Also, the cops have left me alone in my SS/B.
