Sorry, I've hear the '04 horn and it's tone is much nicer than my '03's horn - no "meep meep" at all - it's more "domestic" sounding. I was also told that it would cost less than $80 to retrofit an 03 to an 04's horns - it's just a simple plug-in mod that takes less than 15 minutes.

Hella's are nice too. Depends on what you want in a horn.

For the number of people who have pulled out right on top of me and not even noticed when I honked the horn, I NEED this.
Need something to scare those people. Anybody know what parts I need for an '01? Can I get them anywhere online?

You can order the OEM '04 horns from either HandA or Hardtopguy (both board sponsors). HandA is on the west coast and HTguy is on the east. Check with them as to exactly what you'll need. I'm guessing you will need the horns and perhaps the brackets, some wire. I would also suggest you increase the size of the horn fuse that is located in the fuse box in front of the battery under the hood. Increasing it by 10 amps should be plenty.

I just bought the 04, and the horn is the same as in my 03 Accord. Sounds very much like a domestic, two-tone, but not very pure tones--no sharpness or authority. I was already ready to swap out the Accord horn...

not sure were the horns are in my S2000 but do you have to remove bumper cover to get access to the horns? Switching from 03 to 04 horns sounds like a good idea.

When you're in front of everyone else, you don't need a horn.
Seriously though, I don't think I've used mine more than six times since ownership.
