What did u guys do after your first official GRIND?
Had my red s2k named 'Ruby' just 1 month and 3 days as of today. Never grinded any gears before until today. I was probably at 3500 rpm or so in first gear, going into second gear when ...crunch!!
Was such a loud sound I didn't even know what the sound was at first. Didn't know that grinding your gears could sound so terrible. I read about it but never experienced it or heard it before. Thinking back, I think my foot was not all the way down on the clutch when I was changing into second.
I know Ruby won't drop dead on me, and I'm sure Honda made their cars well enough to survive one nasty grindage....but I feel so bad...not so mad....but bad...like I injured her or something.
She's got blankets on her now and is recovering in the garage. My first manual car and never done such a thing before. Guess I'm getting abit more confident driving, and making stupid errors such as this!
as I try to forget that horrible sound!!

I am taking mine in for a road test on Friday for the 1st to 2nd grind.
Yours is probably fine, just one grind. You'll know if you have a problem if it grinds more when it isn't your fault and in high rpms. That is when you take it to a dealer and then the fun begins.
