The normal Boxster should be no problem if you shift quick enough and at the right revs.
The BoxsterS will probably pull away a bit at higher speeds.
The BMW-M models have 321hp here in Europe and can do 0-60 in about 5.4secs so it's only possible to match their acceleration if you shift a lot better than your "opponent".
Drive with care .

is it basically practice makes perfect when it comes to shifting fast? i mean, nacht, can you shift as fast as the F1 paddle on the modena? can anyone?

so in the S2000... when you redline it on 2nd and you shift up to 3rd and so on, does the engine stay in the vtec zone?

and how accurate is gran turismo 2's S2000 compared to the real thing. silly question, but i just have to ask.

Cool. I'll get to check it out over Xmas. I am visiting my parents in DC. I think I want to spend a few days in NYC around New Years.

They happen so often I forget to write about them.....the outcome is almost always the same! 99% are highway battles.

Ok just recently old 88-92 model Lude. Blew the doors off a couple times cuz I let off the gas.

Last modle year Accord 99 style rice out exhaust loud as hell clear lights all around looked ugly. Passenger seat leaned so far back it looked as if he was ready for take off! Hung behind be for a while looking staring what not. Got tired of that blasted away. Let off the gas he caught up gave me a thumbs up and we both took off.(of course he was way behind!

Then a Mustang loaded with 4 college foot ball player sized gus. Weighed down big time. Killed em but with driver only I think it might have been closer of a call. Traffic was a factor as well in that one.

Pinky, you gotta post more of those stories. Love reading them. Here on the West Coast, there's a ton of that riced out Accord, Prelude deal. It's pretty fun to toy around with them. They respect the S2000 a great deal, though. But damn it's such a waste of money to try to make an Accord V6 coupe into something sporty. To each his own, I guess.

Good work!

So how amout an M5.

Now let me see who is gunna win out of:

M5-295Kw -- S2-176Kw.

I guess it was nice to think that an owner of such an upmarket car noticed my S2. Only which I did not stuff up the 1-2 gear change...And I have no excuse since the car has had the syncro fix.
