assuming you get OEM wheels on your AP1, you're probably looking at $4000 out of pocket to do the trade with them.

Whahahahahah $3200 ADR rims what did you buy 4 sets of them?
there is no way a set of 18" M sports cost $3200, even with tires...

this thread is comedy.
A dealership isn't going to do anything that involves them making no money.

Its logical in my brain, what do you guys think?
The dealership is not going to care at all about your rims. They would rather see the stock rims than your aftermarket ones. So instead of being a "$3200" bonus, the rims are actually a negative.
The dealership is not going to trade a newer model for an older model.
The dealership is not going to trade a white car (easier for them to sell) for a yellow car (harder to sell).
Still think it's logical "in your brain"?

The dealership needs to make money on the deal, so count on spending cash. A GPW/tan on the market won't stay on the market very long - GPW is among the harder colors to find new or used, and tan is pretty popular.
The dealer will really try and lowball you on your trade because they know you are motivated and they want money. Best bet is private sale and then buy the 2004, but if you talk with the salespeople, you can probably manage the trade in for only a couple thousand $$$. They'll tell you they need to put a lot of money into your car before they can sell it, but that's BS. Just tell them you're willing to give them a couple thou on the trade and see what they say.
