It's the color. The flys seem to be attracted to yellow for some reason. I remember doing an experiment on it back in the days with many different colors, and yellow always attracted more flys.

When I had my Championship White Type R, dragon flies usually buzz around the car, esp. when the car was recently washed and waxed. I have not experienced it with the S2K tho.

Schatten,

Don't get the bug zapper, get the alarm mod that shoots flames out of the side of your car. That way, you can fry the bugs.

I kept meaning to post something about this as well. This is my first yellow car and there are always bugs sitting all over it. I have not had bees though, it is mostly small black flying bugs of some sort.

Well, to completely screw up the color theory, I have a silver s2k, and ladybugs can't leave the thing alone. Can you say (sorry in advance), "chick magnet?"

I've wondered the same thing, since I've never had such a bug problem w/ previous cars. Earlier this week I did the full Zaino treatment...I must have had a hundred+ bugs hanging around on my car after the Zaino car wash (it smells kind of fruity). Thankfully they liked the polish lock and polish progressively less!
