i am in the market lookin for a import car thats pretty quick and one of my choices is an s2000 can anyone tell me how it competes with a wrx sti nissan 350z or any car in the price range of an s2000 new like isaid im really into the s2000s but hp seems to be a little low to hang with the others just wanna get the bang for the buck and show it off a little ya know

If HP is really important to you and you are going to be racing quite a bit you may want to consider another car. The S2K can be made much quicker with the addition of FI but it's still going to cost you some jack. Have you considered the new EVO?

considered but dont like the looks id take a sti over evo hands down but not feelin the awd

The S2000 was not designed as a drag car, the 350Z will be a touch faster. It's a roadster. In other words, IF I were to race a Z down the twisties, I WILL win.

well how easy would it be to tune the s2000 into a beast of both worlds.... turbo charger super charger any ideas of times or power thrown down

i see all the views but no one is replying please help me out here what about changing exhaust on the s2000 that decreases hp how many people actually mod their car but leave it stock exhaust

S/C and turbo will put the car to about 300 RWHP (350 at the crank) The problem you may run into is putting that power to the ground effectively!

I havent driven an FI S2000 yet, so i cant say from experience, just from reading, and listening!

Just do some searches on here, and you will find an answer!
