What bulb for our highbeams?
I'm looking for a replacement H1 high beam bulb for the S2000. I want the brightest damn light I can get. It does NOT have to match the HID low beams. I just dont want to burn the bulb housings (however I cannot imagine this being a problem with high beams)
I went to www.powerbulbs.com and saw they have Phillps Rallye bulbs (100W). So far these appears to be the front runners. I'd also consider the Phillips Vision Plus bulbs.
What does everyone think?

Stock wattage cables only run at 55 watts safely however 75 watts is okay if you don't run it for a long time. If you want anything greater in wattage then you need to upgrade your cables to prevent the bulbs from blowing or even worse exploding inside your headlamps which is probably one of the hardest thing to clean up. That way, you can safely use high wattage bulbs to give you a brighter discharge.

Just replaced the H1's. The only replacement I could find was the simplest Sylvania H1 bulb, which cost four dollars and some change. It did not have the fancy bluish tint the OEM bulb has. If I could find one more expensive, I would take it. To my surprise, it was slightly brighter than the OEM bulb.
Honestly, I am sick of these light companies putting two bulbs in fancy packaging with carefully worded fake promises, priced at $40... The cheapest ones work great, and often longer...
