What are all these ads?

What are all these ads?
I am starting to see ads pop up in the MIDDLE of posts...like after the initial post and before the first response.
I figured if I logged in with my members account these things would disappear, but no dice.
Any way to disable them? I would have thought separate sponsor pages, links, and banner at the top and bottom of every page would be enuf...now, they are migrating INTO our posts!
