Ill take a picture when i get home. I ran the icelink under the center console to pop out of the ebrake and my ipod rests on the right side of the groove in front of the radio door

 

 

I have my iPod interface hooked up to the same place as nastinupe1.
I have an Alpine HU and have an interface wired all the way to the secret compartment.
A perfect place for an iPod, imo.

Same as me. Modifry sells these and they just mount where your CD player is. Very nice piece. I velcro'd my hard case to the mount for easy removal.

Well I have thought long and hard about the best place to put my ipod. The best I came up with previous to this was purchasing a new 04+ center console, but its just too much money. I love my ipod in my car but ever since i bought the s2k, I could not find a popper place to put it....until now!

Ipod touch is the ultimate s2000 solution. Its almost like it was designed for the car. I have two perfect places where i put it.


Normal mode:
This setup uses the vents above the stereo as a anchor point and it fits snug (not too snug) just enough to very firmly hold it allowing the ultimate usability while driving. Your hand is down there anyways for shifting, and the large text on the screen allows for perfect navigating.







Movie mode:
If you notice in the other pictures i have a small piece of non stick paper placed right in front of the stereo. No matter how aggressively I drive, i have never made the ipod fall off because of the way it leaning on an angle. This position is ideal for watching movies or if you want to quickly place the ipod down. Its also ideal for using the cover flow feature.

 

I just slide mine into the driver's seat back pocket. I control it through my head unit (alpine ida-x001), everything works out well.
