check it out... i tuck my ipod under the radio door. it keeps the door lifted and prevents it from hitting my knee, which is a problem when its down... its easy to access the buttons from there and it has never slid out or moved.. try it!

 

I have a mini (everyone know is for girl!) and I keep it in the little belt clip which then i "clip" onto the back of the radio door when its folded down. Works like a charm!

As is mine. I haven't run the cable to the locked box yet since it's winter and not at risk of top down theft yet. I'll take apart the console soon and do it.

Plugged in to the Alpine deck it shows the Alpine logo on the screen and sheds some nice light in the passenger footwell when it's turned outwards

 

I got one of those Ipod things to plug into where the rear CD player would be and control it via the radio...no theft worries when the top is down for the day while at work and it is out of the way. Works GREAT.

I have an 01 so i don't know if they all have this, but it links to my premier headunit so i can control it from there and i have the iPod wiring come out on the passengers side by the feet where the netting is, you never even notice it there.

 

If it's a wireless transmitter just set it down in between the shifter and radio, mine fits in there just fine.
