went to the drag strip...
well guys i went to the local drag stip last night...i was thinking all night that i would do pretty good ive seen some stock running mid 14's..
i got to the line my first time and was just playing around with the rpms, i ended up lauching at about 5500-6000Rpms and i ran a 15.6
ive got new tires, S-03 and it wasnt to bad outside not to humid or anything...
dont know what happen or what i did but that was my best time all night
comments are welcome..

i did not try to go to a higher RPM after that run i thought i would get a better time if i keep the RPMs low so the tires would grip but i was wrong...this is my first time running the S2000 is there any tips someone could give me that races there S
and it deff.. wasnt my night

how do i get my 60 down? just get traction sooner...also i just went through the water box i did no burn out will that help? i read in a mag that if you have street tires that pretty much does nothing unless you are running slicks.

Launch the SH!T out of it. Seriously, we are talking 7500+. You really dont want you RPMs to drop much if any after you launch...no bogging. The problem with this is that you are going to kill your clutch and your diff very quickly. If I was planning on spending much time at the track I would feel more comfortable with a aftermarket clutch and built rear.

lol i just got my rear end replaced....i dont plan on going to the track much we go maybe once a month sometimes less or more...i would like to make the rear end better, stronger..how whould i do that get the aftermarket gears..ive been looking around on how to do that....man 7500RPMs thats crazy but i guess i will have to try it
