Default well, i decided against the s2000

i just couldn't pull the trigger on the s2000. for those of you who remember, my Audi TT 225 roadster was being lemoned and repurchased by Audi, so i thought the s2000 was going to be a good replacement. Don't get me wrong, the s2000 is a fabulous car, it just wasn't for me. I needed just a bit more room on the inside (shoulders almost touched the door-sills with the doors closed) and maybe just a little more power. Truth being told, i got a little more money back from the TT than i had expected as well, so that was the biggest factor that pushed me away fromt he s2000. Anyway, i wanted to thank you guys for your help in my buying decisions, you all have great cars, and i can't wait to see some of you on the road, i'd liek to see if my new replacement can keep up.

regards,
dave

Some of us might be curious regarding your final purchase decision. Please let us know your choice when you commit to buying another vehicle.

hey, the fact is that this car isn't for everyone. that isn't a bad thing, nor a good thing. i'd much rather you got something you're happy with than have buyer's remorse.

out of curiousity, what did you go with? z4?

Boxter S is a great choice in cars! If I had the $ it would have been hard for me to decide between s2000 and boxter s. Have fun!

honestly to tell you all the truth, i think the s2000 is probably the closest in handling responsiveness to the boxster s in the conv. class, either way, i knew i couldn't go wrong. I just opted to spend a little more money (more of a tax write off anyway) since i had the check from audi.

Boxster S

What color combo did you get!!! Man, great car!

If I had $60,000 and I already had another dependable car, I would either get a Boxster S or a 1994 Ferrari 348 TS convertible.

Quick Reply: well, i decided against the s2000
