Well it finally happened, scratch #1
yesterday i noticed 2 small scratches on my driver side door. even though i didn't notice it at the time, i am 100% sure it was that POS red escort at school that hit my car with his/her door. thankfully it didn't cause a dent and buffing it helped a bit. i get so angry when i think about it, it feels like they did it on purpose. i have a 94 accord and always parked in any spot i could find. i never had any scratches. ever since i got the s2k, i've been parking next to curbs, trying to avoid this crap...but it happened.
if you guys knew at the time, would you retalliate and scratch their car on purpose?
sorry for this stupid post but i am just venting, some people just can't respect other peoples properties and i feel like smashing driver of the escort's face in.

I feel your pain, but I think you know that farking with another persons automobile is not going to heal your pain. cyman33 must be fairly well to do to make the above statement, you are probably similar to me. I kinda went over my budget financing this car, but i thought it was worth the sacrifice (I still do.) Time will heal your anger, just try to think good thoughts and avoid that parking spot. Don't know how bad your dents are, but paintless dent repair can do wonders. Someone kicked my "S" and PDR made it look like it never happened. Hang in there......

Just try to park next to other nice cars. That's what I do. Instead of parking really far in the back, I look for a newer Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc to park next to. I know that those owners are probably as anal as I am about getting dinged in the parking lot.

Razor, I've got the same feelings as you, man. Although I don't have a scratch or a dent yet, I'm overly paranoid about it. I always park in an end stall, always at the outer edge of the lines, and if I can't, I'll park amongst the newer, more expensive cars. Sometimes I'll drive around the lot a few times until a stall opens up. But one stall I will never park in are those stalls marked for compact cars.
Nowadays, with all these huge SUV's, vans, Jeeps, Hummers and the like, it's tough to avoid getting dinged.
