weird to slap on a black hood on a non-black s2k?

Default weird to slap on a black hood on a non-black s2k?
i have a ssm s2000 with powdercoated black wheels. my friend has an oem black s2k hood. and he asked me if i wanted it. i told him, i think it would look funny. but whats s2ki peeperz' suggestions? anyone have pics? it doesnt have to be ssm.

Hmmm....i think that people would think (whether you are or not) trying to get the CF look the cheap way.

Not to mention the CF look is horrible anyway. Different colored hoods FTL

Only way I would say yes to it is if you were going for a specific colorscheme (Black hood/HardTop/Trunk) to get a sort of two-tone look. Even then, it wouldnt look great.

Black hood on a yellow S2000 almost works, but black on silver nope.

Get it and cut it up to make your own vented hood. Paint to match.
