Default weird observation

Everytime I wash my S2000 (yellow) I finds little knats & insects on the paint (still wet with water). Not really an annoyance but just interesting.
Never happens in my beater (white Civic).

Any other Yellow owners noticed the same thing?
Any other colors have the same observation?

Yellow is the color they use in Medfly traps. Scented yellow cards just

attract them like crazy! Must be like a favorite fruit color or something.

Maybe that's the color they see the best. Is it like how bugs are attracted

to lights and night? Could be. Gee, I wonder if there's a bug repellent

wax! Hmmmm....(note to self: call patent attorney first thing in the

morning!)

I notice that insects are attracted to my cars after they are washed and waxed...in other words, shiny. But this only occured with my metallic cars. I'm guessing its the flakes that attract these insects...especially gold or yellow flakes. I had a montego blue rx-7 and they were attracted to it alot more than my silverstone s2k....I'm guessing its because of the gold mica flakes in the blue paint.....
