Here are some questions I'd like answered (regarding the *Vented* CF hood):
1) How is it in rain and bad weather?
2) Does CF stand up to the usual things like bird droppings, weekly handwashes, etc?
3) Is the CF hood dangerous to either party in the event of a frontal collision? (i.e. does it break up into sharp shards etc) Can anyone surmise how much the CF hood would reduce the car's ability to absorb impacts?
4) If the CF hood is difficult to adjust correctly, how easy is it to make those adjustments?
5) Can a do-it-yourselfer like myself with only a bare minimum of tools install/adjust the CF hood?
6) Do the vents increase underhood sound levels? Obviously the vented hood is going to increase engine volume from idle-on-up. I don't mind the extra volume (in fact I welcome it), but does it allow any unsavory clickety-clacketing engine sounds to get out or is a good sound improvement if any?
Thanks guys

Seriously though. Temp under the hood does seem to be a major problem, especially when in traffic and not moving on the open road. If this will help to reduce those temps I think that it could be a good idea.
