WD40 for Debadging?

I've used goo gone to remove badges.. never had a problem.. soak it all up.. let it sit for 5-10 mins.. run a fishin wire or floss to cut the badge off. soak it again for 5-10 minutes, and rub it off. No damage nothing. Didn't even use 25% of the bottle.

Thanks guys for all your help... I really appreciate it. I have some Goo Gone at hand, so I'll try that first and let you guys know how that goes.

From my past de-badging experiences, I prefer to use the fishing line/dental floss and try and keep AS MUCH goo as possible on the car. Then, use Goo Gone (or an equivalent) and a hair-dryer. It'll peel right off in large clumps (but not without quite a bit of coercion). If you get a ton of it off with the fishing line, leaving small amounts on the car, I've found it's actually harder to get off because it's harder to get that "snowball" effect.
