Default Warranty on tires

My s2000 is a couple months over a year. I know with some car manurfacturers, the tires come with a 2 year road hazard warranty that will replace nail punctures. I just got "nailed" on the weekend, and would like to know if I should get it fixed under warranty when I bring it in for servicing on Tuesday or to just get it done tm morning. Thanks in advance guys.

just take it to a tire shop and tip them. depending on where it is, it can be repaired. if its on the sidewall, it cannot be repaired, or if its too close to the sidewall it cannot be repaired. otherwise, let a tire shop - who deals with tires all day long, take a look at it.

this isnt' going to be covered by the dealer.

and even if it is covered by warranty, it drops by percentage as your tread depth thins..so if you got 10 bucks you'd be lucky

Please be aware that if you have to replace one tire, and it's a rear, you really need to replace both of them or it will affect the handling of the car. I damage the sidewall on a rear tire at 2500 miles and replaced it with a new tire of the same type. From then on until I got a new set of tires at 11,000 miles it would pull to one side or the other depending on whether I was on or off the gas.

Good luck on getting a warranty from Honda or Bridgestone. I got "nailed" 2 months after I got the car with only 4500 miles on the car. I went to Honda they pretty much told me to get a life (The only car Co. that warranties their tires is Saturn) so I went to bridgestone and they said the only thing they would do is sell me a new tire for cost which was still $153.00. So Good luck!!
