Is Honda's warranty on the S2000 transferable?
For instance, if I bought a used S2000, would I still get full warranty coverage for the remainder of 3 years or 36,000 miles?
Any other information would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason

Speaking of warranties - I got my loan through a local credit union - they have a deal for about 800 bucks that gives me several options for an extended warranty - some of the perks are a free loaner, choice of venue to work on the car. I believe they have one that is 5yr/100K, or even a 6yr/100K miles. Now, I have an option to purchase this plan *anytime* before I reach 10K miles, so in other words, I'm not rushing out ot get it. I do think this is good though, with some of you complaining that you cannot even get a loaner for a day or even three days when they have your s2k bellied up. For the time being, I'll stick with the factory warranty.
Any opinions?

The original factory warranty is part of the car and it is transferred if the car is sold.
The new owner should send in the "Change of Ownership" card that is in the owner's manual, particularly for recall notices.
Even without that, if the new owner took it into a dealer for a warranty situation that shouldn't be a problem.
If it's an extended warranty, depending on whose extended warranty it is, it may be transferable. I believe that AHM extended warranties are transferable for a small processing fee.
