Oddly enough, I was just told about these. I don't have a garage so I'd need the outdoor model. Now, if the neighborhood kids and stones from lawn mowers would just leave it inflated...

Is there just one factory cover for the s2000, or is there an outdoor cover and a dust cover. I plan on getting an outdoor cover whenI order my s and want a heavy duty one.

Honda only sells one cover, that I'm aware of. It feels like a good quality cover, heavy, gray color, with S2000 in red on the hood area. Listed for about $120 as I recall. I got mine for $0 as part of the deal I negotiated. I've had similar covers other cars. I've never seen a quality cover trap mosture and I'm surprised to hear this one apparently does. I suspect it may have been due to the conditions at the time the car was covered.... but I'm quessing.

Thanks dlqo4. I will have to decide whether to get a factory cover or aftermarket. I like the factory cover with the red logo on it but I want something breathable in case I have to leave the car out. I am going to try to get the cover thrown in with the purchase so if I succeed the cover won't cost me anything anyways I suppose.

[B]This is just a minor thing, but may be worthy of knowing if any of you have the factory cover. I've had my car in storage for the last 6 weeks or so due to the weather, I keep it in an unheated storage facility that I rent monthly.

I bought the Evolution4 cover for my S. I have the same cover for the CRX-Si, and have used it for more than 7 years. The Evolution4 will let rain get through to the car if left outside in a downpour, by my S is spoiled and stays in a garage when not in use. I really like the Evolution4 because the material is so VERY thick and it is VERY breathable. The material is so thick I dropped a screwdriver on the hood of the CRX-Si many years ago when the cover was on, and to my surprise when I lifted the cover, no dent!
This place has even better covers than the Evolution4. Their prices are great and they use Customcraft patterns. This is very important because the best fabric in the world, if cut to a crap pattern is going to give you a crappy cover. My Evolution4 from Auto Anything really does fit like a glove, I highly recommend them!
