Want to Make her into a Monster.

i don't want to be rude because i am having a good day ^_^ haha.
You have to revise your thinking, you don't need a certain amount of power to have fun, you must realize this.
consider the Amuse Touge Monster, i believe that car is considered to make 280 ps to the flywheel correct? so it probably is about 260 hp to the flywheel give or take, and depending on how you like to drive your car, I'm sure a majority of S2000 owners prefer driving on a circuit or winding roads, that car is probably one of the funnest S2000's to drive.
don't think of it in terms of numbers, that is where so many people go wrong.
FI is not necessary in my opinion, but i don't really care how fast an S2000 is in a straight line.
nearly all the Japanese tuners know what they are doing, and they couldn't care less about the numbers there cars make (obviously they do but that isn't the main focus) they are more focused on how fun the car is to drive.
True enthusiasts aren't looking for all out fastest car possible, they are looking for fun. it has been said by so many people but most never understand. Driving a fully blown Time Attack car with all the crazy modifications is probably really fun, but i bet it isn't as fun as taking the Amuse S2000 for a spin on the Touge.
step back from what you are doing, take a longer look at it, and ask yourself what you really want to do with your car.
If you want to go fast in a straight line or go drag racing you should probably just look for a different car. but i hope i have convinced you otherwise.

RX8 does not have a 1.3 ltr engine... its considered that becase its rated like a 2 stroke engine. If it was rated like a 4 stroke (like the s2000), it would be considered a 2.6. IMO, the F20 is the highest output motor ever mass produced in a production car, next to a fararri.
You can't mod the RX8 much either

Corrections:
At one time, the S2000 had the highest output of any Naturally Aspirated production engine. For all I know, it may still. If you count the rotaries, we lose. If you exclude the rotaries, we win. So let's say "Highest specific output of any naturally aspirated piston engine running on gasoline." Of course some would argue that Formula 1 cars use gasoline, so it's "Highest specific output of any naturally aspirated piston engine mass produced and running on gasoline."
Ferrari, as some like to spell it, doesn't usually have specific output like this Honda engine. Their F40 was spectacular at 162.8 hp/liter, but it took two turbochargers for that performance.
The CURRENT Ferrari F430 has a higher specific output than the CURRENT Honda S2000, so, if we say current in the quote, then we're lying.
Do you see how meaningless it becomes? Let's just say it's fun.

You make no sense man, I don't even know where to begin. Whether to do FI or not has no relevance with the topic on hand, so what are you preaching about?

the main idea of my post was to not be focused on what the numbers are for the car. that is all.

If you notice.. most of the stuff in this thread has nothing to do with the topic. Kinda doesn't matter anymore because the guys question was answered a while ago a few times over.. and now its just people who think they know automotive theory better then the next guy battling it out (for what ever reason)
Try this one. In my opinion, three is a higher number than five. That is not automotive theory, it simply can't be.
IMO you should pick your own posts apart BEFORE you post them.
That is all.

I think the point is that the F2XC makes a lot of power for it's size NA so there isn't a lot of improvement to make. This has been proved over and over again.
On the topic of XViper. Things wouldn't be more peaceful if he and his ilk weren't here. It'd just be less intelligent.
