Want a hardtop, but can't afford an NSX
There have been occasional rumors of a true hardtop version of the S2000. Does anyone know if there is a remote liklihood of this ever coming about, or when?

Current Ride: 1990 Toyota Cressida -- a great car, really!
Will be a good backup to an S2000 in the winter

sjt, I wanted a hardtop/coupe too, but when the MY04 came about and I test drove it, I was sold. The main advantage of a coupe is that it is quiter and is more rigid. The S2000 in roadster form has a chassis as rigid as many good coupes and the MY04 is less noisy than before too. Plus, as a convertible, you have a car with a double personality.....it's like having two cars in one.
Get the S, you will love it.

Oh wait, sorry, it's just my removable hardtop.
Seriously, everybody is right, buy the OEM Hardtop for the S2000. Outstanding quality and you really are getting two cars in one!
