i wanna keep my stock exhaust but wanna improve noise level a little, i got the k&n and did the resonator i just want one more thing, i just wanna be a little louder thats all. NOT a test pipe. But by going with a test pipe how bad will the car smell from outside, for the people behind me is the smell that strong.?

A header will just make the valve train louder.

It might change the tone of the exhaust, but will not make the volume louder.

u did all what u can, only the test pipe would increase the sound of a stock exhaust. i tried j`s headers with the stock exhaust for a while, not louder than stock. but the sound feels different. anyways, the headers it self without a high flow cat back wont give the s2k gains in hp

without going with the testpipe, which even with the stock exhaust does not increase the db level that much, I would say that your stuck.

A header will not make your exhaust/car louder only your valvetrain like rwd rocket mentioned.

do a test pipe they sound good and not too loud IMO

you should try the fujitsibo exhaust system, its louder than stock and not considerd loud compared to other brands. its nearly like stock on high way cruising with no drone at all. but with full throttle it gives a nice louder sound than stock

Maybe it is me, but I hear no increase in volume from Fuji exhaust. Maybe slight tone change, but the motor totally covers up the sound. I think you should go with the test pipe.

The test pipe on my car made the stock exhaust sound more agressive.
