Vtec teasing
#32
I've heard them nalVle, they're all pussies compared to my civic. The howl at 8400 RPM's is something to hear.
I just did a hondata gasket on the civic the other day and was test driving it trying to figure out which is faster, my Civic or my S2000. It's about a toss up though I think my civic has better acceleration. The main thing is the weight difference. The Civic's maybe 2100 lbs and the S is 2800 yet, the civic makes 200 HP to the S2000's 240. It handles at least as well as a stock 2002 '2k. The '2k's definitly smoother though.
They serve different purposes and I'm really happy I have both to play off against each other.

This is hands down the strangest post of the year
This is seriously one of the strangest posts I have ever read.
VTEC is not the name of someone's girlfriend
VTEC is not special
VTEC does not get "used" up
VTEC cannot be teased
VTEC can MAYBE tease SOMEONE... who is... well... different?
Anyways... This is WWWWAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to funny!!!

You are right. This is one of the goofiest threads ever on this forum. My first post says it all.

This is off-topic, but it fits this post very well:
Here is a thinker:
What if you NEVER "hit" VTEC... maybe for 100,000 miles... then decided to, just because you could not be "teased" anymore... I wonder how the car would react?
#2: Is there anyone who has an AP1 who has not yet climed over 6k?

According to the calc, if you want to vtec-pass someone on the highway (at highway speeds) you need to down shift to 3rd. 4th doesn't start Vtec until 75 miles an hour! (AP2 numbers) For 5th, vtec begins at 90 and 6th at 110. So VTEC in 6th gear on the street may involve a night in jail.
Thanks for the link.
