VTEC at which gear do you feel the most power surge?

Slightly off topic. What is everyone's favorite gear? I like 3rd. It has decent/robust power at a wide range of speeds.

Ditto for 3rd Jason. Ironic; I remember that 3rd was my favourite gear in my 97 Prelude too.

dyno a car in 1st gear and then dyno the car in other gears...see what happens. 1st gear pull will ALWAYS net a higher torque rating...and as we know torque makes us feel like we are going fast...heheh

I like 2nd a lot, especially if I don't grind getting into it!

I normally cruise around town in 4th, but will keep it in 2nd just for fun sometimes!

I like 3rd too. but i use the 4th more when i'm on the h'way. i like the growling sound of both.

yea i think 2nd pulls hard but its true that 3rd is better for the speed your going =P
