VTEC
Ive noticed alot of s2k's with really pronounced vtec transitions. Does anyone know what the best mods are to really get a loud vtec transition? Also, sometimes the vtec transition in my ap1 is louder and more pronounced than other times, does anyone know what causes this? Thanks

My son, to trying to help you out here...
A more "pronounced" VTEC transition is not necessarily a good thing. New modifications with proper tuning will help to smooth the transition and almost seem to eliminate it.
You may want to spend a little more time reading old posts on this board, or you're going to get flamed pretty heavily.

intake. I put in a short ram and a vented hood and the thing sounded like 1/2 a ferrari at VTEC. With the agressive cam profile most of the sound is coming from the engine so that'll defintely make the biggest difference. I remember when some kids routed an air filter to their window so they could hear their SOHC VTAAAC. completely retarded by supports the theory.
