Not trying to start a war here, but what causes you to make such a comment?
What info do you know that you would like to share?
In the past I have found some of their stuff to be extremely well written and accurate. I never read a magazine from cover to cover so there is always lots of stuff I miss.
Please elaborate!

I voted for all Hondas!!!
The only variance was for Luxo Sport Ute. . .Lexus LX470 and best Sports Sedan, BMW M5. Other than that, it was either a Honda or an Acura getting my vote!!!

My votes fell to the best 3 in the world (IMHO) with a few exceptions.
BMW, Ferrari and Honda got most of the votes.
One exception was the Subaru Outback. My mother has a '01, I'm amazed at the abilities of the AWD system.
The other exception is Toyota Tacoma. I have owned Nissan V6 4x4 KingCabs for years, but the new Frontier is the ugliest thing I have seen in a long time. As soon as the S2000 is paid for I will be replacing my '95 Nissan with a Tacoma.

The articles in Automobile magazine are well written; however, the magazine does have a general bias against Japanese cars--especially Honda. They love the engineering but they nearly always finish a Honda review with a slam of generic styling or lack of soul. To me, they sound like a bunch of writers who had high hopes of writing about art but instead had to "settle" for writing about cars. I think they have confused their hopes with reality. Honda leads in nearly every category of car qualities that one car think of, but still Automobile would rather give more gaga ink to the PT Cruiser?
