Default Videos of testing out the Modifry camera mount

Hi everyone,

A month ago I purchased the mount that slides underneath your wind deflector. The fitment is perfect and I received my order within three days. I highly recommend this mount if you're in the market for one and want to keep your stock deflector. I plan on making canyon, autox, and hot lapping videos in the future and it looks like it'll do a good job. I recorded the following video off of a Sony HD Hard Drive camcorder. Unfortunately Youtube and Google butchered the picture quality but down the road once I either get some webspace and/or find a way to compress the videos with minimal loss the videos should look fine. For this three and a half minute video, after converting from AVCHD to MPEG2 it was still at 255mbs.

Hope this helps if you're curious about this mount.

lol @ the "sigh" while waiting to turn right in test #2

just curious, how wide is your rear view mirror? i used to have one in my acura legend and integra but didnt feel the need for it in the S2000 since the car is so small and it would probably block off half the windshield lol

by the way, i have a shitzhu that looks almost like your dog

Haha, the reason why I sighed is because I couldn't see on my left side due to a Jeep blocking my view. So I had to sit there and wait for them to make a left. I believe my mirror is around 180mm, a tad less than 8 inches.

I see you noticed my Maltese.

Too cool for school. Looks like I'll have to pick one up before my next track day.

No prob, it's a very straightforward install.

i have had this mount myself but haven't used it since because the clicking sound was too severe. how did you get rid of the noise? did you modify anything on the mount and/or camera?

I think the key is being very snug when you tighten the camera on the bracket. I screw the bracket in as one piece. Once I get it tight enough until it can't move at all. I loosen the butterfly and then I adjust the mounting accordingly.
