Default Video Camera Mount

I did the search and I know that this has been discussed.

Any ready-made video camera mounts that work well in the S2000 or any very easy to make mounts? I'd like to tape a track day.

Thanks.

Do you think one of those cheap X10 wireless camera would work? You can mount those little suckers anywhere and just connect the receiver to your camcorder functioning as a recorder.
I realized that this solution does not provide the resolution and functionalities of a digital camcorder, but from a mounting point of view , it can't be beat.

I personally have a remote camera setup on my bike to record my twisty rides. I plan on setting up my S2K when I finally get it. The picture quality is fairly decent and there are a lot of mounting options that you can go with.

Check out this company :

They sell lipstick cameras and different mounting systems.

Using there mounting systems and being a little creative and you can put a camera just about anywhere you want on a car or bike.

There's been some discussion about this in the Atlanta Forum. I think there's a prototype in the field. Check outthis link and contact Tim https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=27762 .

Yes there is a camera mount in development at the moment, the prototype is out and going for testing at the Dragonball run this weekend. If everything works out I will sell the product, the owner of the design is countachpatch, this design will only be sold through MG Racing.

I will have more info about this product by Monday.

NOTE: price is $69.00 plus shipping

Please e-mail me if you are interested.

RedHead: I've seen the X10 solution - there were pictures posted of someone's car with the X10 mounted in the tow holes in the bumper. I just want to use my video camera, no X10. Besides, I hate the pop-up ads.

timsS2k: I'm interested, but I've seen homemade brackets that mount in the secret compartment at autocrosses. I'd rather not take my windscreen off to mount the camera but if I can't find something else I might order your bracket.
