vibration sound at 6,200 RPMs or so...
Everytime I hit VTEC I hear this vibration sound for a second or two. It sounds like my passenger door trimming is loose but I have checked it 5 or more times and it is not that. I think it could be something to do with the heat shield around the car becasue sometimes when the car has jsut warmed up it does not make this noise. Let me know if you got any ideas... Thanks. Oh if it helps I have a K&N intake and an RSR Exhause kit.

Could be your passenger seat belt rattling against the door. Mine does that sometimes. Try buckling your passenger seat belt and see if you can hear it. I leave mine buckled pretty much whenever someone isnt in the seat, because the rattle drives me crazy. I have noticed that it happens mostly when the seat is slid all the way back.

something from the passanger area in my S rattles at around 4900rpms. probably the seatbelt, but It doesn't bother me so I havent gotten around to fixing

guaranteed i have the sound sound - it came on board after the K&N Intake - during VTEC only - something about the resonance of the K&N changed the succeptability to something in the passenger door rattling....I believe it's inside the door - almost sound like the window but happens whether up or down...
