Replica's are more than just fitment. A lot of the reason is cheaper is because its made of cheaper materials that crack easier.

By fitment I don't mean will it slip on with little work...fitment also includes making sure all of the lines match up from one piece moving onto the next, no waves in the fiberglass, is it symmetrical, etc. With enough pushing, I could probably make most crap pieces slip on, but will it look like a factory piece? Probably not...
