I certainly would have raised hell on the spot.

Karma.

These pr!cks will get it back three times as bad. It's just the rule of the Universe. "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." There are physics involved in all of our actions.

Kudos for being so nice about it. I probably would have broken my other hand resolving this....

It is the human nature. I got my other car ( a brand new BMW 535i )scratched the first day last year.

Sorry for those poor souls that enjoy that way, hurting others because of their success.

Do not upset too much, you are still an owner of a beautifull thing that few people in worl enjoy.

I'll be pissed for you. Want me to hunt the culprit down, rip off his head and piss down his neck while his head watches in remorse? Sorry, sometimes the Texan is me just leaks out uncontrollably. Just kidding. Really you may want to check with the casino concerning the security camera. Most casinos have them everywhere, and usually out of site.

I'm there too. My top was cut and driver's door scratched. Car was also in a indoor secure lot (so much for security). Happened on Oct 31. Hope to get it fixed next week. Honda estimate = $1900. Just be happy that they didnt do worse. Get it fixed and enjoy the car.

Sorry to see ur car like that Wayne, just fix it and never park there again, personally I wouldn't raise a big issue out of this with the carpark owner just incase those idiots see ur car again. Park inside the casino next time.

What a shame. I have a silver stook and know how I would feel. Had a brand new Pontiac Grand Prix and after I took delivery celebrated with dinner for me and my wife in a well lit parking lot. Returned to car and some sicko scratched the whole rear trunk. Country of origin doesnt matter to these people but one day they'll get theirs. Just too bad for you but it will look as good as new with today's technology so just forget it and move on. [QUOTE]Originally posted by AusS2000:

Firstly let me say thank you to all you guys for your support. It really does make a difference.

I've spoken to my insurers (AAMI - highly recommended) and I have to pay a $400 (pacific pesos - about $US200), and there is no effect on my premium. They even arrange taxi's to and from the drop off point, and very cheap car rental if required (my GF will rent me her 91 Civic for less though ).

On a positive note, I'll ask if I can keep the old soft top, so I can investigate folding hard rear window options
