I spotted 4 S2Ks in the span of 1 minute yesterday. Richmond of course where else? =) So I was wondering how many of you had to choose between the S2K and the Boxster and what you think of other S2K drivers in Vancouver? Do you get the same attention that your fellow American owners get?

i dunno..i figure we don't get as much attention around here because it's not as hard to get or maybe just my silver blends in too much with the crowd..people look but it's nothing like the stories that our american counterparts post!!..there's so many other nice cars rolling around too..porsche's, ferrari's..bentley's..<sigh>.

Ya that's my thinking. The response that we get here about the S2K is much different than what our American counterparts are telling us. Sure there are people out there that think the S2K is a cool car but it's more limited to people who drive or love Hondas or Toyotas.
What I'm getting from people from Vancouver is that because there are so many bimmers, MBs and Porches around here, the S2K is considered cool, but it's more like "cool you have an S2K" rather than them actually wanting to own one.

Unfortunately, I don't go on too many "freeways" as other places. Man I can't bare driving behind 40-50mph Corollas.
Anyways I read a recent article and it said that the S2K can be driven like a Prelude or an Si. That definately gives me more confidence in the S2K's ability to handle everyday traffic.
