Can't hear the motor over the wind noise. When does Vtec kick in yo?

***IT is neat though. But I'd rather V8 an FC3S

What type of camera did you use to make that video?
It was a HD GOPRO witha 16gb card in it on top of the windshield.

Good stuff!

Yeah, I would've loved to have heard more V8, but I know getting good audio is a bitch.

Looked like it was a beautiful day in Savannah, Roebling is such a fun track and it has the extra perk of being in/near a really fun town.

Did you use the closed backing (Waterproof)? I've found it gives a better audio quality at high speeds, although you'll always have wind noise. Actually, having the camera shooting on the inside of the windshield woudl have been better. I believe GoPro has a "Shoot upside down" feature that would allow you to rig the shot quite easily.

Glad to see you're out enjoying the build the way god intended it

Well here is a partial video from my trackday its only 9 minutes of a 20 minute stint, sorry for the wind noise but you can hear the motor at the very begining. (and yes we were only allowed to pass on the front straight. Not to bad for her first time out, by the way I was short shifting and not taking her to redline this time out.

I blew my motor on that track

An external microphone would be ideal. Mount the camera anywhere and run the mic into the passenger compartment out of the wind or even into the engine compartment.

I think with engine noise instead of wind noise the video would have been a lot more exciting.

I may be mistaken, but I don't think the GoPro cameras support an external mic.

Yes I agree it is a little boring but it was a trackday none the less, just to show that it does run and can handle. I will get some better videos up later and those should have some tire smoke
