And about the Jag V8, yes those are sweet, but they are certainly larger and heavier than the LS. keep in mind the fact that its a pushrod with a single cam in the middle of the motor keeps the heads quite small and short compared to the taller and heavier DOHC heads with 4 cams. The jag V8 is also taller AND wider because of the DOHC heads, so it probably wouldnt even fit in the S2k engine bay.
This project is really great. I can't wait to see the final project.

As much as I'm a little iffy about an American powerplant in a honda, it would be awesome to pull up behind you and see the crazy rear end!
Reminds me of the CRX with the Chevy engine that was used for the $2004 challenge for Grassroots Motorsports. This should be nuts, good luck!

Im waiting on posting anymore pics up until I have it running due to the fact I dont want to give away all the secrets of what I have done until it's running. I can say that the motor, tranny, rear diff, radiator, fuel cell and lines are done now im working on the wiring so its getting close I would like to have it ready to just show it at Atlanta Formula Drift on May 8-9.

Awesome. When you finish, please post as much info as possible so more of us might be able to do this some day.
To those of you who say this is an abomination, get off your high horses. I rode in an FC RX7 with a built LS1 at an autocross recently, and let me tell you it's nothing to scoff at. It ran 9 second 1/4 miles on nitrous, was damn fast around the auto-x even with an inexperienced driver, and got more attention than any other car there that day. Oh yeah, and did I mention the guy daily drove it? It really is a fantastic car, as I'm sure this S2000 will be once it's finished.
Again, please give us a write-up on how you did this once you finish!
