BTW, to S2Kage, dont know how much the S2K tranny weighs, butthe one out of mine is 95lbs, I know because I just pulled mine for a 6061 tranny, its pretty light and compact for a six speed that can hold 600ft lbs all day, the ones in the tranny dont have a bell housing or tail housing since they are rear mounted and bolt right to the rear end foe weight dist. with the bell housing and tail housing they are around 120,

hey xyster, I still have my T56 if you need one, let me know !

LOL, and it's true. I thought Carol Shelby was a fool and that his cars were an abomoniation.

You're right. I for one will never (ie: can't) forget the Tiger. A good friend in college had one. I never really liked the look or handling of the Alpine, so always felt that the Tiger was actually a big improvement. Best thing about a Tiger is that is is SO much smaller than a Cobra that it actually feels subjectively faster (assuming both cars have the small displacement small block engines).

Tripper Cook (ex-CCR Partner) and Ryan Renolds (ex-CCR Partner and Chief Mechanic) are currently building a second generation MX5 that is going to be making 500 RWHP (more or less), but they're using high boost, and it's must not the same as massive displacement. I love (and even prefer) engines that have to scream to make power, but torque combined with low weight really isn't one iota less fun.

Xyster, you say you have two S2000s. Is one of them white? I've seen a white S2K on my drive to work in Hiram two different times in the past week.
