There is no hyphen in VTEC. You should gain more power with them, while reducing fuel economy. Effectively being in 'VTEC' all the time.

VTEC = Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control

Honda uses 2 cam profiles on the same camshaft to get the variable valve timing and lift. Why is this good? Basically any cam profile is optimized over a limited rev range. There is a low rev cam for good low end power, idling, emissions and efficiency (basically daily drivablity). The high rev cam for top end power ignoring emissions (basically a race cam). So for a little more complicated valve train it gives the best of both worlds.

"VTEC killer cams" is a marketing name for full on race cams with only one cam profile. Only one cam profile simplifies and lightens the valve train, which I would guess allows for higher revs, less valve train loss and a more radical cam for more high end power. This will give more peak high end power, but will make idling suck and reduce low end power. These cams are only good for race situations where the car is always running at high revs, probably at least above 6k.

Your going to loose power under 6k rpms and your power will stay the same above 6k as they are just the hi-power camshaft that already comes in the car

A good alternative to vtec killer cams for street use is a VFAC piggyback that can control vtec engagement point. You can get some good power by lowering this 400-700rpm

The single profile racing cams likely have even more aggresive profiles raising the engine speed at which peak power is produced, thus producing more peak power (as long as there are other mods to support the more aggressive cams). Intended strictly for "off road use only."

I would just go with what was suggested above. Get a vtec controller like the NEO or VAFCII and lower the engagement point.
